Jasna Čapo took part at the conference in Marseille

In the capacity of member of the Scientific Board and opening-session presenter, Jasna Čapo Žmegač participated in the second conference of the French Balkans Studies’ group, entitled A la recherche des Balkans: Entre Europe et Mediterranee (Marseille, June 1-4, 2016). Some 40 colleagues from France, Greece, Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, Germany, England, Slovenia, Serbia and Croatia took part in the conference. Čapo gave a talk about the management of the refugee flow through Croatia in 2015 and presented the project City-making: space, culture and identity to colleagues from the Universite Lumiere Lyon 2 and University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece, both of whom are doing research into urban diversities in Western and Eastern European cities.
