Exhibition and lecture on Hvar

Jasna Čapo and Valentina Gulin Zrnić were invited to participate in activities during the week of events for the City of Hvar Day (October 2nd).

An exhibition titled “Look into the Future: City 2030” was set up in the City Library on October 3rd, 2023 (open until October 17th), with an opportunity for citizens of Hvar to make suggestions for improving the quality of life in the city.

Additionally, on October 3rd, 2023, Jasna Čapo and Valentina Gulin Zrnić held a public lecture on their research conducted in Hvar. The event gathered around thirty citizens and led to an interesting discussion among participants – mainly about the vision for the city’s development, the future of youth and cultural life, the relationship between private and public goods, youth participation in political processes, etc.

During the lecture and exhibition, they conducted an interactive survey where citizens could provide up to 5 key words for the vision of Hvar city in 2050; the survey and its results were later published on the city library’s website.
