Workshops on Civic Participation

Mirna Tkalčić Simetić and Valentina Gulin Zrnić collaborated with the non-governmental organization Pravo na grad and the initiative Društvo i prostor in organizing workshops on civic participation in the development of the Istočni kolodvor Urban Development Plan (UPU).

During the three-day workshop program held in Zagreb (6–8 December 2024), Mirna Tkalčić Simetić facilitated five workshops with residents from the planning area. Prior to the workshops, she conducted a one-day fieldwork in Peščenica (covering an area wider than the UPU scope) together with architect Mauro Sirotnjak.
