Participation in the HEXMIX Platform Panel Discussion

A member of the project What Kinds of Cities Do We Want? Contemporary Transformations of Urban Visions, Practices, and Ethics, Tihana Rubić, will participate on 29 January 2026 in the first public event of the new collaborative platform Hexmix, dedicated to exploring the intersections of technology, art, and human creativity, and opening a space for discussion on the futures of the creator economy. The event will take place at Holografik Space (Franje Petračića Street 3, Zagreb), starting at 6:00 PM, and will bring together experts from the fields of science, technology, and creative industries.

Assoc. Prof. Tihana Rubić, PhD, will take part in Panel 02 (7:15–7:45 PM), alongside Prof. Nedeljko Štefanić, PhD (FSB, Culmena), Sonja Durajlija Žinić, PhD (Ruđer Bošković Institute, Satellitome), and Dorian Čupek (Hexmix). The panel will be moderated by Karlo Knežević (Sofascore). The discussion will focus on interdisciplinary perspectives on innovations in artificial intelligence, the opportunities and challenges of generative AI, ethical issues surrounding its use, and the role of collaboration between academia and the private sector in shaping the future of creativity through the development of human-centred technological solutions focused on well-being of people.

Tihana Rubić’s participation in this event is thematically connected to the research and engaged activities of Futurus centre a platform that operates as an open space for encounter, dialogue, and the (critical) reflection and (co-)creation of futures. The interdisciplinary discussion on generative artificial intelligence, creative practices, and collaboration between academia and the private sector raises broader questions about how futures are collectively imagined, negotiated, and shaped, as well as about the social and ethical implications of technological innovation in the field of artificial intelligence.
