Presentation of the book “Shaken: Scholarly-Humanistic and Artistic Responses to the Banija Earthquake”

On 2 December 2025, at the Institute of Ethnology and Folklore Research in Zagreb, Mirna Tkalčić Simetić participated in the presentation of the edited volume Shaken: Scholarly-Humanistic and Artistic Responses to the Banija Earthquake. During the event, she presented the methodological and theoretical framework of her article “Waiting for Reconstruction: The Heterochronicity of Petrinja’s Ruins,” published in the volume. The discussion also included Ildiko Erdei, Anamaria Franceschi, and Tamara Banjeglav, and was moderated by the editors of the volume – Renata Jambrešić Kirin and Jelena Marković.
