On January 12, 2026, Mirna Tkalčić Simetić participated in the Sonar Cities project webinar entitled Training & Tools: How to Prepare for Disasters. The webinar mapped existing disaster-preparedness trainings and toolkits, with the discussion focusing on co-creation and the development of context-sensitive, practical, and inclusive approaches to strengthening the capacities of urban collectives to address disasters across the phases of preparedness, response, and recovery.
