Attendance at the Episkop Project Talk within the GO! 2025 programme

On 10 December 2025, in Nova Gorica (Slovenia), Tihana Rubić and Mirna Tkalčić Simetić attended a public talk held as part of the Episkop project, within GO! 2025 programme – the European Capital of Culture Nova Gorica–Gorizia. The event was opened with introductory remarks and a presentation of the speakers by Špela Ledinek Lozej, Head of the Episkop project.

The discussion featured Giustina Selvelli and Jaro Veselinovič, a collaborator on the bilateral Croatian–Slovenian project Cities and Futures (FUTURB). The conversation was moderated by Saša Poljak Istenič, one of the project leaders of FUTURB.

During the discussion, Selvelli and Veselinovič presented research insights derived from long-term ethnographic research conducted in several cities designated as European Capitals of Culture, including Nova Gorica.
